Full-Time Youth Care Specialist – Al-Jīzah
Job Description
This role is in charge of monitoring child care providers to ensure that they are following all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures. This job is also responsible for conducting monitoring visits and recommending acceptance or denial of registration applications or renewals of child care facilities and centers within the given counties and caseload to Team Leads.

Qualifications:
- Inspections and assessments of current and prospective child care facilities ensure that providers are abiding by applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
- Informs and explains child care providers about concerns that need corrective action, develops a plan for appropriate corrective action, and establishes timelines for fixing the problems.
- As a team, social service personnel and investigators examine and document claims of child abuse and neglect.
- Provides technical assistance to facility operators by conducting training, responding to inquiries, and providing child care-related information.
- Working with the division and the information technology group to maintain track of child care registration data is part of this job.
- Co-plans appropriate learning activities for groups of children depending on their age, group size, composition, and other characteristics, in order to implement the center’s educational philosophy.
- Child care provider applications should be granted or rejected, and existing registrations should be cancelled if necessary.
- Creating an environment that fosters self-confidence, trust, and respect.
- In the event that health and safety monitoring visits are needed on weekends or at night, make sure you have the appropriate flexibility.
- To maintain compliance with child care standards, there is limited coordination between owners, administrators, boards, and child care providers in a certain geographic area.
Skills:
- It is necessary to have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication capabilities.
- Readability and comprehension of business journals, technical procedures, and rules.
- It is essential to be able to communicate effectively with groups of managers, customers, board members, and members of the general public, as well as to answer quickly to inquiries.
- Knowledge of child care programs and the Child Care Resource and Referral Service, as well as previous experience dealing with low-income families, are also highly desirable qualifications.
- Candidates for this job must have a Master’s Degree or the equivalent in post-baccalaureate academic credit. Anyone applying for this position must have at least four years of education programed administration and/or teaching experience.
