The Database Administrator is responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of many databases (s). Disaster recovery, performance analysis and tweaking, index maintenance, and data monitoring are all responsibilities. Administers, maintains, develops, and executes policies and procedures to ensure the database’s security and integrity. The candidate will assess and suggest database management system (DBMS) solutions that are currently available. Performs database and software life-cycle operations to achieve maximum system performance and availability while adhering to business requirements. The candidate will manage SQL, Oracle, and MySQL databases as well as application servers. Candidate organizes and prepares data to make query and storage procedures more efficient.

Qualifications:
- Microsoft SQL Server may be used to set up database administration tasks including user management and storage administration. Produce and maintain system configuration specifications, training manuals, and other forms of internal documentation for the system.
- Works with suppliers to construct, develop, and setup big, complicated databases on current MSSQL versions. Architects application, data, and execution.
- For optimum database configuration, performance, and cost, optimizes database access and re-allocates/reallocates resources. Responsible for managing and monitoring policies and practices aimed at protecting the integrity and security of the company’s database.
- Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes, and addresses database performance concerns, database capacity challenges, replication, and other distributed data problems.
- In this work, database resource standards are studied and specified. This section provides analysis and design services for both new and existing systems.
- Administrates the database on a technical and operational level. Installs, maintains, develops, and executes policies and processes to ensure the security, availability, and integrity of the organization’s databases and massive data warehouse database settings.
- Analyzes and specifies a DBMS’s existing and future characteristics. Analyzes firm structure and develops logical database structure for application development.
- Support for the conversion and upgrading of data. Working with project managers, business analysts, and developers may help projects go forward by removing any confusion.
- Maintains schemas, manages huge tables, and creates queries and tools to aid users. Upgrades and fixes are installed on previously created databases. Conducts examination of systems and finds and recommends solutions to technical issues
- The physical database design, performance and tuning, backup and recovery operations, and other distributed data problems may be addressed using these techniques.
Skills:
- The creation and documentation of standards, file design, file retrieval, and all other aspects of data management.
- It is important to have at least ten years of experience as a Database Administrator in systems and contracts that are similar. Five(5) years of experience with Java, C++ or C, Perl, JavaScript, UNIX, XML, and HTML.
- Customer service and taking ownership of the solution are important parts of what you do. a history of meeting deadlines and putting things in order
- Data dictionary and database system implementation success. All applicants must be acquainted with the technologies used by credit unions as well as have previous expertise in designing comparable apps.
- A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline and at least two to five years of experience designing and operating Microsoft SQL Database Solutions are needed. Alternatively, an equivalent mix of education and work experience is necessary.
