Qualifications:

- Collaboration with other contractors and local officials on building projects is essential, as is providing direction and mechanical support when required. Participates in a range of training sessions to keep up to date on the latest trends in the construction sector as well as the appropriate inspection regulations.

- Mobile/manufactured structures must be installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and any relevant state legislation.
- Provides information to consumers about codes and other regulatory requirements; acts as a subject matter expert on applicable regulatory codes; monitors and inspects barriers and other safety-related signs and equipment.

Skills:
- Within 90 days of employment, a One and Two Family Dwelling Inspector license from the DBPR, which must be converted to a standard license during the period required by DBPR to work for the department.
