Qualifications:
- Maintains internal control standards inside the bank, including timely completion of internal and external audit points, as well as any external regulators’ concerns.
- Conduct daily proofs, balance cash, and make sure transactions and negotiable items are in line with the system’s records. Keep an adequate cash drawer at all times.
- Be the initial point of contact for a customer and leave a positive first impression by offering prompt and polite service.
- Maintain high levels of customer service while providing a one-of-a-kind experience by getting to know your clients and providing timely answers when they need them.
- Use customer relationship management systems to build new business referrals by calling current and potential customers and following up with them to see how they’re doing toward their goals of fulfilling customer expectations.
- Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/ Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) are kept in balance as needed.
- Customers’ accounts are serviced, loans are approved, payments for safe deposit boxes are received, gift card sales are handled, checks are cashed, currency is confirmed, the cash drawer is balanced, and night deposits are made.
- Keep up to date on the Company’s goods and services, as well as any applicable federal legislation, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Know Your Customer requirements. Follow all Company and regulatory compliance and operational risk controls to the letter; report any control flaws, compliance breaches, or operational loss occurrences.
- On a local level, to carry out the Group compliance policy by reducing compliance risk in collaboration with the Head of Group Compliance, Global Business Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer, or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources and training, fostering a compliance culture, and optimizing relationships with regulators.
- Compliance with all financial rules, such as BSA, OFAC, Reg CC, and the USA Patriot Act, must be kept up to date.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- It is important to have at least one year of customer service and/or sales experience, including cash handling.
- There are several factors to consider while dealing with huge sums of money, including speed and precision.
- Employment eligibility in the United States is necessary since the company will not sponsor visas for these positions.
- Applicant should have a desire to learn and improve his skills on a daily basis, as well as a desire to be a good leader.
