Job Description
This position supports the Director of Tax and Tax Senior Manager with tax accounting tasks. Maintaining tax compliance and tax accounting support schedules are the primary responsibilities of the Tax Associate. The Tax Associate will communicate and collaborate with the Accounting and Finance Department on various projects and tasks.

Qualifications:
- Estate and gift tax planning, as well as philanthropy services, help people build their legacies and leave a lasting impression on the world around them.
- Accounting and tax balances (such as taxes owed and deferred) as well as general ledger accounts under the Tax Receivable Agreement (“TRA”), including foreign withholding and franchise/gross receipts taxes, should be reviewed.

- Keep track of everything that needs to be done for tax compliance. This includes but is not limited to tax returns, extension requests, and quarterly estimated tax payments.

- Management must be notified of any technique or practice that does not fulfill regulatory standards, including fraud, whether suspected or verified.
- Work on a broad variety of tax difficulties, composing memos, letters to clients, and other materials, all while offering opinions and suggestions to the public
- Maintains rigorous compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as with applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering legislation.
Skills:
- In order to properly complete job responsibilities, a reliable method of transportation to and from work, as well as to and from other work-related activities, meetings, and interactions with customers, is essential for each employee.
- This role requires a CPA license and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. 3 to 6 years of tax experience in a large CPA firm or corporate tax department is necessary, as as an ability to collaborate well with others.
- It’s essential that you have the technological know-how necessary to get the most out of your job. Ability to use Microsoft Office apps (Word/Excel/Excel Spreadsheet/Database) Expertise with computers is desired.
- Well-rounded professional who has shown the ability to manage a wide range of tasks and processes while meeting tight deadlines, both internally and outside.
- Understanding and interpreting safety regulations, operating and maintenance guidelines, and procedure manuals.. Being able to communicate effectively via the written word. Clearly and succinctly address questions from business employees and the general public. The ability to communicate successfully with people is a must. Possession of the ability to do basic math operations with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in all measurement units. The capacity to compute percentages, ratios, and rates, as well as to create and interpret bar graphs.
