Job Description
The Video Producer is in charge of the entire process from concept development to final delivery of an educational video or audio production. Planning, scripting, interviewing, lighting, recording audio, editing, generating motion graphics, producing, directing, and so on are all part of the job. With addition, the ideal candidate will have experience working solely in audio formats, such as podcasting (both creating and posting audio for them) and writing compelling descriptions of audio content.

Qualifications:
- Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit video and audio, providing a finished product within the deadline assigned.
- Be sure that all visual and aural content is protected by appropriate copyright measures. Work with third parties to acquire licenses if needed.
- During filming, assume the position of director and be in charge of the camera, lighting, talent, and audio.
- Deliver a finished product that can pass our stringent audio and visual quality tests.
- Check that our marketing message is represented in the film and that the university’s reputation is enhanced.
- Take control of video equipment such cameras, teleprompters, and microphones as needed.
- contribute to our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter content strategies and provide regular video contributions.
- Post videos to YouTube, Vimeo and other media channels. Track viewership habits and statistics to increase effectiveness and reach.
- A good rule of thumb is to always be one step ahead of the competition by keeping up with the latest in software, video equipment, and industry trends.
- Projects may on occasion require people with photographic experience to put their skills to use.
Skills:
- Experience in media management, editing media files, capturing and importing media, and organizing raw material is a plus.
- Expertise in using Adobe Premiere and the other Adobe applications for professional video editing and graphic design (After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
- possessing familiarity with a wide range of camera equipment and techniques, such as the Sony FS7 and A7S, as well as remote filming through Skype, Zoom, etc.
- possess a bachelor’s degree in video production or have equivalent experience, and be able to demonstrate your ability to produce a variety of excellent works.
- Expertise and demonstrated experience with audio and lighting equipment; expert knowledge and demonstrated experience with video editing software (currently we’re utilizing Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier).
