Job Description
For the benefit of the organization, the Economist will perform market, industrial, and economic research. In this position, the individual will use various data collection and statistical methodologies, prepare results for interpretation, and present findings to stakeholders in order to form prospective plans and enable further innovation.

Qualifications:
- Asses the effectiveness of economic policies and initiatives by compiling reports that detail the goals, objectives, policies, and forecasts that have been derived via comprehensive economic analysis.
- It is critical to keep an eye on and make modifications to existing models and prototypes in order to strengthen and reinforce the core models as well as the group research goals.
- Under the supervision of a senior Economist, you will do economic research, analyze and interpret economic data, come up with estimates of benefits, and report your findings.
- Identify the data and methods that will be utilized to perform thorough, objective research that will address knowledge gaps and serve as a foundation for future policy and planning.
- Information and training are provided as instructed and authorized to the staff; requests for information and help from other government agencies or the public are met within the power granted.
- Additionally, consider the audience when you are preparing for a speech or an essay, as well as when you are writing.
- An academic researcher’s sponsors, management and/or senior staff may have concerns that need to be addressed. This will allow all those engaged to gain knowledge and insight from the process.
- Maintains and maintains the financial reporting system as needed; reviews various documents, data, and reports to detect and rectify errors; tracks data and monitors compliance with the budget plan.
- Analyze large and different data sets with advanced analytics techniques to deliver ad hoc analyses and insights or come up with analytics-based solutions.
- Conduct economic surveys to gather economic data, compare previously submitted data to current situations, and evaluate the relationships between relevant economic aspects for clearly defined projects, among other things.
Skills:
