Job Description

As the Creative Director, it will be your responsibility to establish or maintain brand equity for new and existing goods across our various portfolios through the development of innovative strategies and related creative guidelines. Directing and mentoring a team of design professionals (graphic designers, industrial designers, photographers, illustrators, etc.), working in multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams (strategists, marketers, copywriters, etc.), and frequently collaborating with external consultants, freelancers, and agency partners are all ways in which this position contributes to and drives the overall efforts and strategic vision of the department. When presenting to upper management, the Creative Director will do so with grace and assurance, especially when discussing projects of critical importance. The role of the Creative Director requires them to provide design logic and advocate for their work, all while being receptive to feedback and other points of view. It is crucial to the success of this position that you be able to adequately explain your vision via both verbal and visual means. Candidates for this position should show that they thrive in fast-paced environments, such as brainstorming sessions and seminars.

  • Delivers professional client presentations in a clear, concise and direct manner that are engaging, visually compelling, persuasive and supported by a sound rationale and strategy.

  • expertism in the design of packaging, including familiarity with industry norms in terms of design, manufacture, and cost.
  • Ability to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop at an intermediate level and be comfortable working on a Macintosh.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in design, advertising, or communications and six years of relevant work experience, including package design work, in which the candidate took on increasing levels of responsibility.
