Full-Time Sr. Art Director – Ṭanṭā
Job Description
You’ll be in charge of developing and implementing innovative strategies and the associated creative benchmarks to build and protect our brand equity across all of our product lines, both new and old. This role contributes to and drives the department’s overarching efforts and strategic vision by managing and mentoring a team of design professionals (graphic designers, industrial designers, photographers, illustrators, etc.), working on cross-functional teams with specialists from other departments (strategists, marketers, copywriters, etc.), and coordinating with external consultants, freelancers, and agency partners. With self-assurance and grace, the Creative Director will present top-level management with important projects. The creative director’s ability to defend their work and articulate the design logic while remaining open to feedback and new ideas is crucial. Your ability to clearly communicate your ideas verbally and visually is crucial to your success in this field. Candidates for this role need to demonstrate that they thrive in fast-paced, fluid settings like brainstorming sessions and team workshops.

Qualifications:

- The organization collaborates with both internal and external partners to effectively represent the fundamental brand equity and governance. The long-term advocate for equity keeps the company’s brand consistent with customers and other stakeholders.
- Partners with the Account Management lead and department leadership to create budgets, timelines, and deliverables and ensure they are followed.
- Research the creative industry; keep up with trends and innovation.
Skills:
- Six years of experience in graphic design, communications, or advertising, including package design, and a master’s degree in design, advertising, or communications with evidence of increasing levels of responsibility.
- familiar with the Apple Macintosh platform and have intermediate-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- packaging design expertise, including knowledge of standard design, production, and cost factors.
- a high level of adaptability, flexibility, and equanimity in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty.
- A specialist in developing plans for design and in enhancing designs as they are created and implemented.
