Job Description
The IT Program Manager will act as a single point of contact for the Program Management Office (PMO), College Project Teams (CPTs), District and College IT employees, architect/design team, building contractors, systems installers, and vendors, ensuring that design and functional requirements are satisfied. The IT Program Manager will respond to all technology project requirements and provide the CPT with the support needed to complete construction projects on schedule and under budget.

Qualifications:
- Ensure that all activities are performed on schedule, that client tasking instructions are clear and accurate, that contract workers are qualified to do the duties, and that any potential personnel issues are avoided.
- Create a budget, risk profile, timetable, and other important criteria, then share them with stakeholders and management.
- To measure the quality and efficiency of teamwork, develop, implement, and analyze metrics, internal process improvement, operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Delivery excellence using a client project execution framework and industry best practices includes client relationship management, project and program management, vendor management, proposal development and review, and cost modelling.
- In order to react swiftly to spikes in demand for contract employees, the team should develop and execute effective processes and procedures. Determine whether or not the service level agreement (SLA) was met.
- Participate in professional activities outside of the workplace to stay up to date on industry trends. To stay up with activity at these institutions, establish relationships with other project managers in the legal and other industries.
- Organize and plan activities such as installing and updating hardware and software, developing programs and system designs, configuring computer networks, and configuring Internet and intranet sites on the Internet and at work.
- Provides direction to people responsible for the creation, design, and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions that support company business operations and technical information systems platforms.
- Balance supply and demand across their portfolio’s ongoing and forthcoming projects, hiring more project managers and other resources as needed.
- By working closely with the IT team, business partners, and suppliers on a regular basis, you can figure out how to solve problems that happen on a day-to-day basis.
Skills:
- Reading, writing, and comprehending English-language texts including safety rules, procedure manuals, and operating and maintenance instructions.
- A minimum of 12 years of advanced leadership experience in IT and/or consulting in the public and/or private sectors is required.
- Must have an IT-II security clearance or a current National Agency Check, as well as a Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
- Program/project management knowledge, including experience directing strategic software development programs/projects for mobile networking products or cloud-native/SaaS solutions is required, as a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project or Program Management qualification is required.
