The Digital Media Planner will coordinate the planning and purchasing of digital media with external customers, external vendors, external sites/publishers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate the success of digital campaigns through a variety of measurement and analytics tools, communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and stay abreast of the latest research, trends, data, tactics, etc. in the digital advertising industry.

Qualifications:

  • Compare monthly vendor billing to third-party advertising stats to confirm accuracy.
  • To make sure that partners are executing campaigns in accordance with specifications, keep an eye on ad verification, brand safety, and viewability.
  • Dealing with a media vendor and Account-Based Marketing partners to manage and negotiate paid advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor the performance of the campaign as it is being carried out by outside media partners, perhaps scheduling regular meetings with important partners.
  • The process requires the development and upkeep of flowcharts, media budgets, media authorizations, and vendorINSERTion orders.
  • Collaborate with other members of the digital marketing team to develop and implement paid advertising strategies in support of ongoing lifecycle programs and point-in-time demand generation campaigns aimed at consumers and businesses.
  • Develop paid media recommendations across many channels taking into account the needs of your client.
  • Send RFPs to prospective media partners to assess their interest in working with you on client campaigns according to your goals and KPIs.
  • Research relevant media and potential partners to provide buy placement proposals. Explore new avenues for marketing that align with the campaign’s goals and approach.
  • Collaborate to deploy omnichannel advertising approaches for paid media campaigns based on buyer profiles.

Skills:

  • Knowing how to buy B2B software and being at ease looking for new channels in the B2B market by industry or persona
  • 4-6 years of experience in the field of digital media marketing, including 2-3 years of negotiating media plans and budgets with outside vendors.
  • adeptness at content marketing, native media buying, and ad contracting. having worked directly with media sales teams from other companies.
  • Direct advertising buys with vendor partners allow us to decrease costs for our clients and provide them with additional value.
  • Media planning and buying experience of at least three years’ duration, including paid search, social media, programmatic, and direct buys.
