Job Description

The Inventory Specialist will be in charge of keeping track of all cars at the facility while adhering to corporate deadlines. The Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition according to corporate standards, which includes a thorough inventory and accompanying images for each vehicle, using company-provided tools. In addition, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for controlling traffic in the reception area to guarantee timely processing of vehicle inventory utilizing a system of priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Inspects and measures tools and equipment for flaws and wear, and reports any damage or wear to the supervisor.
  • To determine inventory balance, price, and cost, gathers data on material, equipment, goods, or supplies received or supplied.
  • Verifies inventory, monitors order points, places and expedites orders, and receives, arranges, and stores tocks tools, equipment, and parts.
  • It is necessary to have prior experience working in a fast-paced, professional, customer service-oriented team context.
  • The number of years you have worked in this position will affect your salary.
  • Maintains pertinent records and paperwork; generates standard reports for management approval.
  • Assists with physical inventory planning and implementation.
  • Use an identification tag, stamp, or electric marking instrument to identify and label tools and equipment.
  • To handle any concerns regarding material stock inventory levels that may occur, interact with shipping or inventory coordinators, department supervisors, and internal and external customers.
  • To find cost-cutting possibilities, manipulates par levels, reorders points/min/max, and decreases holding costs.

Skills:

  • Being able to go online and perform basic Internet searches, check email, generate and send attachments, and utilize basic email functionalities are all examples of basic computer literacy.
  • Pallet jacks, for example, require the ability to control machinery.
  • A minimum of two years of clerical work experience demonstrating the relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Safety regulations, procedure manuals, and operating and maintenance instructions are all elements that must be read, written, and understood in English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, interpersonal skills, organizational ability, grasp of good body mechanics, safety measures, and infection control, ability to follow directions, and knowledge of section specific test information and tools may be required.
