The primary role of a Cost Accountant is to ensure item costs are accurate. This is done by regularly auditing product costs, bills of material, routings and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• This position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• For each account on the balance sheet, examines, reconciles, and makes any necessary balance sheet comments.
• You should be familiar with SAP.
• To analyse Production Financial Reports, acquire and report financial data as quickly and precisely as possible.
• You should know how to use Microsoft Excel.
• The BOM, labor routing, and OH allocation must all be used to determine the cost of new goods.
• Ability to deal with people on a number of levels and in a variety of circumstances across a variety of tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The candidate should be aware of Using a direct deposit.
• The candidate should have a deeper understanding of the P/L, cost drivers, and cost forecasts, as well as the ability to articulate their findings to management.

Skills:

• Exceptional analytic abilities are required.
• A considerable focus on internal controls is necessary, as is a deep understanding of enterprise resource planning systems (ERP).
• It’s challenging to manage numerous tasks at the same time.
• Outstanding initiative and responsibility.
• Assisting with the preparation and filing of sales tax returns is required of you.
