Full-Time Senior Accountant – Hajipur
Job Description
All business and general ledger accounts are accurately reconciled by the Junior Accountant. This comprises bank statements, credit cards, and audits of general ledger accounts on a quarterly, monthly, or annual basis. Financial preparation and analysis of accounts, as well as reporting of financial variations and mistakes, are among the responsibilities. Additional knowledge of accounting software programmes and Excel will be advantageous.

Qualifications:
- Companies and investment entities, including debt sections, are assisted in developing tax packages for submission to the tax department by this employee.
- For this role, knowledge of additional languages is an advantage, but it is not needed (Spanish or French preferred)
- When generating and revising depreciation schedules and journal entries, adheres to company policies and procedures (e.g. consistent application of accounts and depreciable lives).
- The junior accountant should assist with cash posting on a regular basis, including recording electronic transfers and book transfers via daily cash receipts, as well as obtaining the necessary documentation (e.g. distribution account, supporting emails)
- Assist in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Maintains financial information confidentially, creating confidence and ensuring the safety of operations.
- Role involves analyzing current and future financial legal needs; ensuring regulatory compliance; and advising management on crucial measures.
- To help with accounting problems, use a problem-solving mindset to deal with them.
- Prepares and maintains a number of intercompany schedules to guarantee accurate interest calculations and compliance with partnership agreements and/or management directions. Ensures that the required information is acquired and recorded (e.g. terms and accounts).
- Contracts should be looked at to make sure that revenue reporting is in line with both the contract and technical revenue recognition advice as it applies to the company’s operations.
Skills:
- One year of experience in bookkeeping or a comparable accounting or finance function is required.
- Has excellent analytical skills, is a natural mathematician, and has a good sense of detail. Has experience with Great Plains ERP and other accounting applications.
- A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting or finance is required (equivalent experience considered)
- VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables are two advanced Microsoft Excel talents.
- Perform effectively under pressure, manage several priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
