As a Safety Coordinator with us, you will support the Safety Manager with the coordination and planning of emergency drills and exercises, the review and execution of after-action plans connected to real accidents and/or drills/exercises, as well as other duties as assigned by the Safety Manager.

  • It is necessary to assist with the implementation of our safety policy and zero-accident culture on the project(s).
  • Among other things, develops and implements hearing conservation, chemical inventory/control, hazardous communications/SDS, ergonomics, and other programs. Audiometric testing is planned, supplied, or organized on a yearly basis.
  • Safety meetings are organized and facilitated by her. Plans, develops, and delivers or organizes the delivery of safety-related training to a number of departments on a monthly basis.
  • Ensures that all required safety-related equipment and system testing, inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs are performed on time. Ensures that problems are evaluated for ILSM risk and fixed according to policy.
  • Managers and supervisors are advised and assisted in establishing a safe working environment. Safety or hazard control equipment should be purchased, used, and installed.
  • This employment necessitates consistent and predictable attendance, the ability to complete tasks safely, and strict adherence to all safety standards and procedures.
  • Employees, supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders receive advice and technical assistance on issues including worker’s compensation and fitness for duty determinations.
  • Regularly assess the workplace for possible hazards and implement hazard controls before an accident happens. Determine if any employees are engaged in dangerous safety behaviors and, if so, if they require more training.
  • Conduct accident investigations and work with management and employees to come up with solutions to prevent future disasters. Implement the approach and monitor the results.
  • Assist with the updating and auditing of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Lockout Procedures, as well as ensuring that personnel are appropriately taught in them.


  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
  • Individual who maintains high ethical standards in their daily work operations. Takes responsibility for his or her actions and decisions, and encourages an honest work environment. Uses caution while dealing with highly confidential and sensitive material.
  • Gather information from a variety of sources, organize it, prepare it, and make suggestions to management and operational staff.
  • Document, presentation, spreadsheet, and database applications are all necessary.
