The Risk Analyst contributes to the overall quality of risk management by providing data analytics help in the measurement, monitoring, and reporting of one or more of the following risks: strategic, credit, market, liquidity, legal and regulatory, operational, and reputation.

Qualifications:
- Ad hoc risk assessments of first-time wire counter-parties should be conducted, as should a negative news search and a background research of potential new or present clients.

- Establish a detailed knowledge of a company’s risks by undertaking risk assessment studies such as information collecting and coverage placement, loss forecasting and analysis, and other related activities.
- For certain initiatives, analysts may gather external data from the Mortgage Industry, while others may give assistance for projects overseen by other members of the team.
- regularly monitors and maintains a list of initial coin offering (ICO) clients; assesses and analyses the client list to ensure that it complies with regulatory guidance criteria and modifies risk tolerance as necessary.
- Make advantage of any and all accessible sources of background material to construct an assessment, such as Factiva, Lexis Nexis, or any other open source information.
