The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for driving the company’s research efforts via data-driven insights. The ideal applicant will do predictive and prescriptive market analysis, emerging technology and trend analysis, competition intelligence, and give proactive insights/recommendations on growth plans and company operations improvement. The employee in this capacity will proactively analyze data and deliver insights to executives and senior management in order to enhance company results and support growth plan efforts. Candidates should have a diverse experience in order to do market research and grasp the technical elements of our goods.

Qualifications:

- Regularly get data in many formats from a wide range of platforms and databases for use in processes, reports, and analytical tools. Use the internet and software subscriptions to find out more about the industry and how to enter it.
- Help senior decision-makers make more informed judgments on strategy, business model changes, and new product and market launches by visualizing results.
- Competitors, pricing, sales methods, marketing, and other factors that could affect future sales are researched and analyzed. Existing and potential customers’ preferences, economic conditions, advertising, distribution, and other factors could also affect future sales.
- Creating and updating reports to keep management up to date on current happenings, as well as possible areas for growth (data analysis and narrative). Compile reports and make suggestions based on the information you’ve gleaned.
- Cooperatively examine marketing information requirements across the company’s business units; create and execute initiatives to meet specified objectives; find and increase process efficiencies; and enhance the customer experience.
- Monitor the collection and compilation of data in order to produce periodic reports, such as those issued on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis. To aid in decision-making, establish baselines and track trends over time.
- Control how the company gathers, stores, and distributes data and information. Maps, graphs, and tables may be used to assist in the understanding of market research data.
- Using data mining methods and tools, learn about markets, target consumers, and competing tactics. Then put those findings to good use.
- Collaboration with the Market Research team is necessary in order to set research objectives, create procedures, and develop survey questions that will assist our internal clients in achieving their research objectives and achieving their research goals.
Skills:
- An technique to fixing problems before they become an issue by first recognizing and defining them.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to write formulae, connect spreadsheets, use pivot tables, chart data, and format.
- Extremely analytical. Capable of working with data from a range of platforms and a variety of sources. I feel at ease going into the specifics of the data.
- Significant knowledge of primary and secondary market research methodology, strategies, tools, and processes, as well as practical experience with complex statistical software, such as SPSS or SAS, is required.
- Proven expertise (3-5 years) integrating, displaying, and analyzing data to generate quantitative outcomes to assist improve income.
