Qualifications:
- Regulate how the business collects, stores, and presents data and information to the public. Visuals like maps, charts, graphs, tables, and other data-driven outputs can help people better understand market studies, so they can make them.
- Prices, marketing strategies, sales figures, and client preferences, among other factors, are all examined for their potential impact on sales. They also consider the potential impact on future sales that these factors may have.
- Useful information is transmitted to others in a simple and easy-to-understand way, so encouraging them to act.
- Generating and maintaining reports to provide management with information on current events as well as potential areas for development (data analysis and narrative). Use the data you’ve gathered to compile reports and provide recommendations.
- Process, reports, and analytical tools should be able to easily consume data in a variety of formats that come from a wide range of sources and repositories. Investigate online and using subscriptions to market research tools provided by the firm.
- Visually communicate results to executives using charts, graphs, and other visual aids to assist them in making better-informed choices on strategies, business model changes, and new products and markets.
- It is critical that we work together with the Market Research team to assist our internal clients in achieving their research objectives.
- Gather and compile data into reports that are issued weekly, quarterly, and yearly to keep the public informed. Make suggestions based on established baselines and trends in data.
- Work with the company’s business units to analyze marketing information requirements; plan and execute initiatives to meet particular objectives, discover process improvements, and enhance the customer experience.
- Data mining abilities may be used to acquire, verify, and convey important insights about markets, target consumers, and competitive strategies, among other issues..
Skills:
- It is necessary to have extensive understanding of primary and secondary market research technique, tactics, tools, and procedures, as well as practical experience with complicated statistical software, such as SPSS or SAS.
- Intuitive and analytical. It is necessary to be able to work with data originating from a wide range of platforms and sources. Possession of the knowledge necessary to probe deeply into a body of data.
- Must be able to identify problems before they happen, understand business and system processes, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Microsoft Excel expertise is required, including the ability to write formulae, connect spreadsheets, use pivot tables, chart data, and format.
- Working with a broad variety of reporting systems, including Tableau (3-5 years), delivering measurable findings to aid improve revenue optimization.
