Job Description
We are looking for a bookkeeper who will maintain required financial controls and advise the principle or other school administrator on all finance and accounting tasks relating to campus rules, practices, record keeping, and reporting needs.

Qualifications:
- For this role, you’ll need three years of bookkeeping experience.
- Check purchase orders against activity funds, double-check money availability, distribute funds, and get administrative permission.
- Answering the phone and using office equipment are examples of clerical duties.
- Settlements with route employees on a daily basis, which would include matching appropriate tickets.
- Go to the bank as quickly as possible to recover any unpaid checks or insufficient funds.
- Budget modifications that have been proposed are monitored until the budget is finalized.
- The candidate should have a good understanding of Clover Point of Sale (POS) and QuickBooks accounting software.
- Make sure that cash handling procedures are followed. Noncompliance is noted, and issues are addressed with the principal as needed.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or management is preferred.
- Examine your financial records to see if they are up to date and accurate.
Skills:
- Excel knowledge is required.
- Entering data abilities and a mathematical understanding are important.
- Accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals for payables and receivables are well understood.
- Effective time management and organizing abilities are necessary.
- Negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach are required.
