Job Description
When clients visit the car lot, it is the receptionist’s job to welcome them, answer their queries, and point them in the direction of the right employee. The receptionist’s duties also include taking messages and directing callers to the proper staff members. Receptionists, like people in all professions, have an obligation to act morally.

Qualifications:
- Respond to requests for your presence at meetings, such as those of the Operations, Finance, and Performance Management departments.
- carry out additional administrative tasks, such as filing, copying, collating, and faxing.
- Respond to all incoming calls, screen them, and then forward them while providing necessary information.
- Welcome study participants, visitors, employees, and messengers. Determine the nature and purpose of the visit, then guide or lead them to their desired locations.
- Guests and employees should be required to sign out and in properly so that everyone is aware of who is where at all times.
- Keep track of new hires and annual compliance trainings by organizing the collection of data and updating of the personnel database.
- Maintain a signed-out ledger for each piece of office equipment and a key log for the office and filing cabinets.
- Responsible for enabling requests through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), as well as for follow-ups and backup training coverage.
- Tasks such as invoicing, data entry, word processing, generating new case files, and drafting correspondence are completed.
- Use a phone system with several lines to sort incoming calls, redirect them, and manage messages.
Skills:
- ability to balance several tasks at once and produce stuff in a short amount of time.
- To ensure that every concern reported to the front desk is documented and handled in a timely and professional way, it is imperative to pay close attention to detail.
- Knowledge working as a secretary or receptionist in a busy office is a plus.
- Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint are considered bare minimums in the IT industry. One more is using the web for research.
- Follow-up, communication, and empathy for clients, employees, and colleagues were all exceptional.
