Part-Time Purchasing/Inventory Specialist – New Washington
Job Description
The Inventory Specialist will be in charge of keeping track of all cars at the plant and ensuring that they are inventoried according to business guidelines. The Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition according to corporate requirements, including a thorough inventory and accompanying images for each vehicle, using instruments provided by the firm. The Inventory Specialist will also be responsible for controlling traffic in the reception area to guarantee timely processing of vehicle inventory utilizing a system of priorities.

Qualifications:
- Maintains pertinent documents and documentation; prepares standard reports for approval by management.
- Assists with the physical inventory preparation and implementation.
- Manipulates par levels, reorders points/min/max, and reduces holding costs to identify cost-cutting opportunities.
- Must be experienced in a fast-paced, professional, customer service driven team environment.
- This role receives, unpacks, and stores tocks tools, equipment, and parts by evaluating inventory, monitoring order points, arranging and expediting orders, and receiving, organizing, and storing goods.
- Compiles information on received or distributed materials, equipment, goods, or supplies, as well as inventory balance, price, and cost.
- The payment for this job is evaluated on the number of years of experience you have.
- To resolve any issues about material stock inventory levels, communicate with shipping or inventory coordinators, department supervisors, and internal and external customers.
- Inspects and measures tools and equipment for faults and wear, notifying the supervisor of any damage or wear.
- An identification tag, stamp, or electric marking instrument can be used to label and identify tools and equipment.
Skills:
- Reading, writing, and interpreting English materials such as safety regulations, procedure manuals, and operating and maintenance instructions.
- Fillers, Rinsers, Cappers, Case Packers, Case Formers, Coolers, and Pasteurizers are examples of industrial machines that need knowledge and the capacity to understand and troubleshoot.
- Communication abilities, interpersonal skills, organizational capacity, great body mechanics, safety precautions, and infection control, ability to follow directions, and knowledge of section specific test content and tools are all possible factors.
- Simple computer literacy is demonstrated by the ability to go online and perform basic Internet searches, check email, create and send attachments, and use basic email functionalities.
- It is strongly desired that you have two years of similar job experience in Material Management (e.g. inventory, distribution, etc.).
