Job Description
At any given time, an IT Program Manager will oversee multiple projects and oversee applications that are currently in production. The IT Program Manager will be in charge of a small team of Data Analysts as well as a team of Data Integration/ETL developers and Quality Assurance personnel. To manage and deliver various phases of the SDLC process, he or she will communicate with business users, vendors, and other IT teams. He or she will be solely responsible for estimating and managing costs for resources, products, and other application expenses.

Qualifications:
- As a means of analyzing the quality and efficiency of teamwork, develop, execute, and analyze metrics, internal process improvement, operating procedures, and job instructions.
- Create and implement effective processes and procedures that enable the team to respond swiftly to spikes in contract employee demand. Make sure the SLA has been met.
- Participate in professional gatherings outside of your company to stay up to date on industry developments. To stay up to date on what’s going on at these sites, form ties with other project managers in the legal and other areas.
- Responsible for overseeing the development, design, and optimization of one or more information technology or systems functions that support the organization’s business operations and technical information systems platforms.
- To stakeholders and management, develop and convey suitable budget, risk, schedule, and other critical factor communication.
- In order to ensure that everything is completed on time, it is necessary to ensure that client tasking instructions are clear and concise, that contractors are competent to do their duties, and that there are no possible personnel concerns.
- With new project managers and other employees hired as needed, supply and demand are balanced throughout their portfolio’s ongoing and prospective initiatives.
- Organize and plan tasks like installing and upgrading hardware and software, writing programs and systems designs, setting up computer networks, and setting up Internet and intranet sites on the Internet and intranet.
- These are all examples of delivering excellence utilizing a client project execution framework and industry best practices.
- Working directly with the IT team, partners, and vendors on a regular basis to identify problems that require operational solutions.
Skills:
- People who want to work in Project or Program Management need to have certificates from reputable schools, like the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or another Project or Program Management qualification.
- Experience directing strategic software development programs/projects, ideally for mobile networking products or cloud-native/SaaS solutions, with a minimum of three (3) years of program/project management experience.
- At least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in the public and private sectors in the fields of information technology and management consulting are required.
- National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
- Leadership tactics, production methodologies, human resource modeling, and the synchronization of people and resources are all critical to effective strategic planning and resource allocation.
