Job Description

The Program Analyst is responsible for a wide range of complicated management and program analysis tasks. Typically, the employee use both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to evaluate both internal, organizational administrative processes and line health care programs for efficiency and effectiveness purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Organizational and management strategies, processes, and procedures for conducting a wide variety of long-term research and projects, as well as budgeting methods and techniques for creating evaluations and estimates of resource needs.
  • Be aware of legislative and policy developments that may have an influence on the government’s attitude and response to pertinent issues in the nation or region.
  • Developing innovative ways for measuring and assessing progress requires in-depth familiarity with a wide range of evaluation techniques.
  • Containment and/or capacity development projects may be affected by changes in political or security sector dynamics, human rights issues, or administrative management concerns.
  • Make recommendations for necessary modifications to national programs that interact with the country in issue either directly or indirectly via third parties or multilateral organizations.
  • Analyze the organization’s structure, management policies, practices, and procedures, and administrative operations and processes. Qualitative and quantitative techniques are both acceptable.
  • SOP documentation should be provided after a thorough analysis of present practices to explain how to carry out certain tasks, processes, and procedures.
  • Evaluate current management and program guidelines to find out where further clarification is needed.
  • Reports and briefings, as well as personal interviews and observation, are used to evaluate the political stability, security and risk of the allotted countries.
  • maintain a regular presence in the IT-related business management office and aid with the compilation of business-related papers that involve sophisticated financial data from several programs and initiatives.

Skills:

  • A comprehensive understanding of how to design complicated projects and programs that are critical to the firm. Project and program objectives, goals, and deadlines are all included in this.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels among the foreign policy and intelligence communities at all levels is a must for this position.
  • Understanding the policy implications of a certain issue, initiative, or development in a given geographic or functional specialized area is an essential skill for any professional.
  • DHS is required by law to utilize the E-Check System to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees, and the new hire is required to take active efforts to remedy any differences found by the system as a condition of continuing employment.
  • It is necessary to have at least two years of experience working in a project management office or business management office (e.g. financial management, schedule management, risk management, communications management)
