Security guards monitor and protect property against criminal activity and damage. These guards may work at schools, hospitals, and banks, along with such commercial properties as shopping centers, casinos, and sports venues, power plants, and transportation hubs. They monitor the flow of people and employees and respond in emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• provide a visible presence that enforces safety and security.
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
• be at least 18 years of age and 21 years of age for certain positions.
• Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents.
• Supervising the entry of employees or visitors.
