Job Description

The Social Media Director position is open to a self-starter with a passion for social media. The ideal applicant is someone who takes initiative, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, has a solid work ethic, and serves as a role model for others. Media Directors need extensive knowledge in paid social and performance marketing as well as other media channels that contribute to the client’s business KPIs in order to effectively plan, buy, execute, and evaluate these efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Communicate with high-level client executives to align agency resources with needs and grow clientele.
  • Make sure client campaigns are a smashing success by coming up with fresh concepts and options.
  • Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and reporting: Manage the annual budgeting process, as well as monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting for traffic, revenue, expenditure, ROI, and other performance KPIs at the channel level.
  • manage the development of digital marketing (with a focus on sponsored social) and the execution of engagement programs and campaigns that result in profitable, long-term partnerships with clients.
  • To keep things running smoothly, it’s important to always be looking for new ways to improve things like performance analysis, A/B testing, customer segmentation, creative collaboration, landing page optimization, and more.
  • When it comes to digital media and services, it’s up to you to manage your connections with customers.
  • Oversee the entirety of an acquisition or performance campaign’s digital channel planning, launch, optimization, and performance measurement.
  • Share results with the broader acquisition team and marketing management; monitor and adjust channel performance on a consistent basis to achieve or surpass goals.
  • In order to get insights from analytics and recommendations for campaign enhancements, actively test and analyze campaign delivery, traffic, and activity.
  • Support the success of the team by ensuring best in class standards are met and timely applied to client work.

Skills:

  • demonstrated ability to organize and execute multi-pronged programs with a sponsored social focus.
  • Proven track record of selling new products or services to existing customers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a history of tool learning are preferred.
  • Able to conduct quarterly company evaluations and lead client presentations both in person and over the phone.
  • Minimum of five years as a media professional – preferably working with or for an agency.
