Qualifications:
- Ability to develop accounting and financial procedures and structures, as well as instill a Continuous Improvement culture within the company.
- The payment for this job is evaluated on the number of years of experience you have.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, keep escalation under control, anticipate and make trade-offs, and strike a balance between business needs and technology and procedural constraints.
- Assist operational divisions with technical accounting difficulties, ensuring that any technical issues are properly addressed, repaired, and documented in accordance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations. The global finance team should be trained, coached, and developed in their understanding and application of these concerns.
- Assist with the preparation of withholding tax, value-added tax, income tax, and other tax returns, as well as the accompanying documentation and schedules, in accordance with government agencies.
- Create a framework for evaluating significant performance indicators as well as critical events and activities (KPIs).
- Financial reports, financial information, and recommendations for future actions should be provided to management.
- Communicate with various departments, discussing corporate strategies and agreeing on future directions.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance to compare the actual performance to the business plans.
- Make investment activities and strategies that the company should pursue suggestions.
Skills:
- Strong PC skills and application knowledge are required; experience with MS Excel, Hyperion, and SAP is preferred.
- It is necessary to have a working knowledge of web-based collaborative programs.
- Capacity to lead and grow finance teams’ skills and competencies.
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or business administration is required, as well as a bachelor’s degree with a strong mathematical component (MBA preferred).
- The applicant should have a strong sense of leadership and a drive to continually learn and improve his abilities.
