- Hold meetings to discuss the workload and expectations to ensure the goals are met.
- Coordinates operational matters as building maintenance/repair, office equipment and purchasing. Maintains and develops relationships with vendors, including getting quotes.
- Plans and executes department/program meetings, retreats, trainings, and other events as needed.
- Helps Managers, Directors, Executives, and Officers with their everyday administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, arranging travel, and writing mail.
- coordinates the installation of office equipment, the signing of leases, and the allocation of floor space.
- Possibly a single location where data can be shared between different bureaus, governments, and regions.
- Coordinates the department’s administrative tasks, including payroll, bookkeeping, and other pertinent tasks, as necessary. creates, if necessary, the systems and reports that direct and assist in administrative operations.
- One provides both internal and external parties by answering phones, writing standard letters, memoranda, and reports from drafts, and resolving customer service issues.
- Helps keep track of and update contracts and bids.
- Office equipment operation, basic data collecting, common office automation software, and purchasing procedures are all required.
- Planning, organizing, and prioritizing work requires a certain amount of autonomy and discretion.
- Able to maintain complete discretion regarding all corporate operations, employee/employer information, and other matters.
- Personal attributes include being service oriented, dependable, meticulous, comfortable prioritizing numerous concurrent activities, and having a sense of humor.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and progressive work experience.
