Job Description

To join our team, we are presently hiring an office clerk. By keeping files, logs, and records up to date, accurately, and completely, our office clerk will successfully give administrative support to the service center staff and deliver top-notch customer service to both internal and external clients.

Qualifications:

  • Monitor the availability of paper clips and other workplace necessities and communicate any shortfalls immediately.
  • Timely and accurate responses to customer contacts and investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
  • Over the course of the fiscal quarter, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, payroll, invoicing, credits, inventory, billing, and production reporting.
  • Working together with others to support a team or work group in achieving its objectives is known as collaboration.
  • Help out in the office by taking care of paperwork, answering typical questions about company policy, and helping with other administrative tasks.
  • Always keep your records and files up to date and accessible.
  • Make use of the office’s technology, including the copier, printers, and computers, for things like word processing and making spreadsheets.
  • Conform to standard office procedures by printing, scanning, and revising papers as needed. Make written records of facility activities and store them appropriately.
  • Carry out clerical and administrative tasks as directed and in accordance with established protocols.
  • General Office Administration: Manage a range of day-to-day office-related chores, including but not limited to phone responsibilities, filing & organizing, and general cleanup, etc., to ensure the Support Office runs well.

Skills:

  • A fast typist with knowledge in stenography and taking dictations.
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, truckers, office workers, and upper management.
  • the capacity to get knowledgeable about the trucking and carpet padding industries.
  • have previous experience in an administrative capacity, such as that of a secretary.
  • Competence in basic bookkeeping and office procedures is a plus.
