Job Description
The Inventory Controller is a vital part of the surgical team and is responsible for patient supplies and operating supplies for Pre-Op, Day Surgery Unit, and PACU while staying under budget. The Inventory Controller uses OR schedule, preference cards, and purchasing history to predict surgical requirements. He/she works with management to support par levels. The Inventory Controller ensures PeopleSoft carts and integration page are correct. These maintain par levels and feed supplies to the OR medical record and surgeon preference lists to help discover goods. The inventory controller alerts personnel about product changes. The Inventory Controller builds connections with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and nursing staff. He/she supplies required materials for optimal patient care and contributes to patient, department, and company objectives.

Qualifications:

To establish daily inventory balances for raw and packed goods, you will work with the plant finance and procurement divisions. You’ll also assist the receiving and shipping warehouse workers with inventory cycle counting (each SKU has different cycle count requirements)

- The individual must be able to stand, walk, sit, speak, and hear in order to do this work. For moving the items, it is expected that the employee would utilize both arms as well as their hand and arm to reach. - A high school diploma from an approved institution or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with appropriate professional experience Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration connected to the inventory management system’s inventory location system
