Job Description

The Merchandising Specialist will play an important role on the team. They are responsible for all aspects of creating and distributing product content across all media platforms. To that end, he or she will be tasked with enhancing our online selling narrative and increasing conversions via relevant content. Qualifications:

  • Bring successful collaborative projects to a successful end and create a consistent customer experience across all touch points by working with colleagues in Category Management, Product Management, User Experience, Brand, and Marketing.
  • Customers’ satisfaction, income, and conversion may all be improved by strategically altering the shopping experience.
  • can make data-based recommendations for content performance, ideas, and optimization by making it easier for them to do so. Determine which content pillars will help you sell your product by looking at how well it has done in the past and how well it is doing now.
  • Construct hypotheses and KPIs, oversee the setup and execution of all A/B Tests, and offer a next step proposal based on A/B Test results obtained from the site.
  • In collaboration with Brand and Creative and other outside agencies, oversee projects to generate material for above and below the fold that is in line with global brand guidelines and standards of excellence. For example, we may work with the Brand to better understand and promote new product introductions and seasonal changes in the portfolio via content.
  • Define the layout of catalog attributes as well as the method for obtaining key product information from the supplier base both retrospectively and proactively
  • Collaborate with partners both internal and external to ensure that our brand’s message is consistent regardless of where our consumers come into contact with us via each channel.
  • A taxonomy and categorization strategy, together with ideas for usage across owned and retailer channels based on category data and consumer activity data, should be developed before putting the strategy into action.
  • Cooperate closely with outside agencies in order to brief on strategy and requirements and to give constructive, guided feedback that will lead to the best creative output in accordance with the brand and the goal of the company.
  • Keeping up with the latest innovations in digital content creation can help you remain ahead of the game (such as new channels and technology).
