The Merchandising Specialist is an essential member of the team. Product content for all distribution channels is under the direct control of this individual. In this role, he or she will be in charge of increasing sales by promoting our products and services online. - A/B Testing possibilities based on site data analysis to promote innovation and optimization (create hypothesis and KPI, supervise effective setup and execution of all A/B Tests and offer next step proposal based on result) should be identified.
- The catalog attribute structure and the process of obtaining key product information from the supplier base, both retroactively and proactively, should be supported.
- Develop a taxonomy, categorize, and filter navigation strategy, and suggest it across owned and retailer channels.
- Collaboration with teams across Category Management, Product Management, User Experience, Brand, and Marketing is essential to effectively completing collaborative projects and ensuring a consistent customer experience across all touch points for the company’s customers.
- facilitate the generation of data-based recommendations for content performance, ideas and improvement. Based on historical and present performance, determine which content pillars will aid in the sale of your goods.
- Establishing and maintaining content rules per channel, in collaboration with internal and external partners, will help to guarantee that our brand’s message is consistent no matter where the customer engages with our brand.
- Work closely with external agencies to brief them on strategy and requirements, and to provide constructive, directed feedback that will result in the most creative output possible that is on brand and in accordance with the overall strategy and brand standards, among other things.
- Innovate and succeed with your efforts if you stay abreast of the newest developments in digital content production (such as new channels and technology).
- In order to increase customer engagement, revenue, and conversion, analyze and propose strategic modifications to the shopping experience.
- Co-ordinate the creation of above- and below-the-fold content with Brand, Creative, and external agencies. Collaboration with Brand on content, new product launches, and seasonal portfolio modifications is part of this.
