The Paid Media team is looking to add a high-energy, data-driven, and creative Digital Media Planner that is comfortable negotiating media buys directly with vendor partners. In this role, you will meet with vendors, negotiate media buys, and make sure campaigns are carried out as planned; these are all tasks you should find rewarding. Qualifications:
- Verify that monthly vendor billing complies with third-party advertising analytics.
- Build suggestions for paid media across many platforms, taking into account the client’s stated goals.
- Construct and keep up with flowcharts, media budgets, media authorizations, and vendorINSERTion orders.
- Negotiate and oversee paid media campaigns with strategic media vendor and Account-Based Marketing partners.
- Keep tabs on the progress of campaigns contracted out to third-party media companies, and consider scheduling regular meetings with the most important partners.
- So that you may evaluate potential media partners for client campaigns in light of how well they align with client objectives and key performance indicators, you should send out requests for proposals to them.
- Learn about relevant media and partners in order to suggest buy placements. Locate novel promotional openings that align with the campaign’s strategy and goals.
- To make sure that partners are executing campaigns in accordance with specifications, keep an eye on ad verification, brand safety, and viewability.
- Collaborate to put buyer personas into action while implementing omnichannel advertising strategies for paid media campaigns.
- Paid advertising strategies in support of ongoing lifecycle programs and point-in-time demand generation campaigns for commercial and enterprise audiences must be developed in collaboration with other members of the digital marketing team.
Skills:
- Ability to negotiate and purchase native media and create engaging content. Knowledgeable in dealing with outside media sales teams.
- Capability to negotiate direct media buys with vendor partners in order to reduce rates and incorporate added value options for clients.
- Familiarity with B2B software buying process and the ability to confidently locate new B2B channels based on industry or persona.
- 3+ years of experience in media planning and buying across direct, social, programmatic, and paid search.
- 4-6 years of experience in the field of digital media marketing, including 2-3 years of negotiating media plans and budgets with outside vendors.
