Qualifications:
- Aside from frequent assessments and coaching, every department staff should get a thorough orientation, skills and safety training, necessary paperwork, and other supplies.
- Train and oversee the customer service, data entry, and/or dispatch and warehouse employees of the shift. Offer superior customer service to both internal and external clients.
- In compliance with the company’s internal rules and state and federal standards, accurately administer the department’s administrative activities, including accounting, reporting and recordkeeping.
- Employ judgment in bringing total experience to bear in ensuring that the area operates effectively, professionally, and in compliance with business rules and procedures.
- Make every effort to participate in and lead department or bank-related initiatives. This job function also includes the capacity to lead or participate in Federal Reserve System work groups or initiatives.
- Issues impacting collaboration, process, resources, and other duties should be communicated to workers and others. It is necessary to communicate with and engage with the local Field Engineer on a daily basis.
- Check to see whether the US Treasury Currency Operations Manual and Federal Reserve System Custody Control Principles and Standards are followed.
- Assists the department or division’s aims. This person’s input influences products, services, and/or business goals. A project manager must coordinate action plans to meet goals/objectives.
- Check that all shipping documentation are completed on schedule and accurately. Ensure timely and cost-effective recoveries and pick-ups. For clients, enter pricing proposals or freight costs.
- Handling a self-directed team (s). The manager hires and trains his or her staff. So the team’s overarching direction is obvious. Conducts team training exercises. Decides on salary, employment, and termination.
Skills:
- Experience in running operations spanning at least two years (preferably in a cash handling environment). Experience in banking-related fields is desired. (At least three years of experience serving in a supervisory capacity on an operations team or in a relevant functional area are required for level II. The minimum requirement for Level III experience is five years.) Strong leadership and the ability to collaborate effectively with others are essential components of desirable experience.
- EITHER a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field may be substituted for 6 months of experience. The amount of experience required for this position is dependent on the degree earned.
- It’s been shown that you can motivate others. How well a person may delegate work and responsibilities to others in order to improve efficiency for the company and for the individual. Customer-oriented. You must be able to build and maintain strong connections with your clients if you want to succeed.
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, or a similar field is preferred, or a similar mix of education and work experience. Experience in a similar field is a must. 2 years of experience as a boss or leader Needs experience in the field.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, the internet, and job-specific software packages. Multiply and divide with US and/or international currency, weight, volume, and distance measures, in addition to other units.
