Front Desk operations are handled by Front Desk. The hotel front desk will verify that federal, state, and local employment rules are followed. - Excellent service to guests entails welcoming them with a warm smile and supporting them in acquiring information about the guest and things to do in the nearby region. Over and beyond finding innovative ways to make money, the hotel places a high value on the guest experience.
- Help clean any part of the hotel that the boss tells you to, such as the front desk, the employee break room, the guest laundry, the fitness room, the vending areas, the stairwells, and the common areas.
- Help other departments such as Breakfast, Social, Housekeeping, Laundry, etc. Maintain hotel toilets, lobby, and other public spaces.
- People excellence shows a passion for customer service and teamwork. Product excellence – give friendly, smiling service and a swift, accurate check-in.
- Fill out the registration forms for your guests and double verify that they have provided all of the necessary information in the appropriate spaces. Always make sure that the information in guest accounts is up to date, including credit card and identification numbers, as well as any modifications.
- We’ll know whether they had a good experience after they’ve checked out. If you can’t fix a problem within the company’s rules and regulations, contact a supervisor.
- Serving guests quickly, politely, and professionally Maintain outstanding service and hospitality, and swiftly and successfully resolve guest concerns and complaints.
- Keep information, correspondence, reports, and files that belong to the hotel private and safe. Handle all reservation requests that come in and go out, Follow what the General Manager says about lost and found items.
- Present the machine totals for each transaction to the Guest Services Manager, and reconcile the day’s transactions with the machine totals. Adaptation is needed.
- Immediately provide them with a warm greeting that is both real and courteous. Employ a voice that is upbeat and easy to hear, actively listen to ensure you fully comprehend requests, reply with appropriate action, and give correct information, such as store hours and nearby points of interest.
- To be able to stand and move freely across the front office while carrying out essential duties Being able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
- For this role, a working grasp of property management software is required. All shift reports must be reviewed, and audits must be conducted according to plan.
- A high school diploma is required, or an equivalent qualification. A solid grasp of computers is a must, as is at least three years of hotel front desk experience.
- To moderate emotions, obtain correct information, and resolve problems, effectively engage with internal and external consumers who need patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Advanced computer abilities needed to quickly and accurately enter data. Early warning of a calamity is crucial.
