The Budget Manager oversees day-to-day office operations alongside the Director of Administration Operations, focusing on employees and the smooth and effective functioning of office systems and equipment. Budget manager is responsible for purchasing equipment, maintaining office and equipment, upgrading procedures, and training personnel on AV, phone systems, and office equipment. Helps IT with office equipment, systems, software problems, and training. Position coordinates budget input and reporting for Administration. The Budget Manager oversees the Merrill Center Receptionist and works with Company State Office Managers to provide them have the resources and training they need to run state and regional offices. This job guarantees uniformity and efficiency across offices, supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications:
- Daily budget operations for agency programs Assist program managers in assigned divisions with the formulation and execution of financially viable business strategies to satisfy customer satisfaction requirements.
- The OMB Office of Finance handles operational and financial issues for the assigned Division, including award processing. State Attorney budgeting and monitoring (SAO).
- Comparing the current fiscal year’s expenditures and operational efforts to the previous fiscal year is done. The Supervisor receives reports on budget changes.
- Financial and budgetary analyses for OFM, legislative staff, senior management, and external stakeholders. Accurate, comprehensive, excellent.
- Researches, compiles, assesses, and analyzes data for special projects; suggests, in accordance with University policy, the necessary service and personnel levels
- Providing analytical assistance to assigned programs for business case creation, projections, make-or-buy choices, rate analysis, and other financial modeling and studies should be done in cooperation with the Director of the Agency’s Budget.
- Performs multiple actions and duties, some of which may not be in the job description but fall within the employee’s occupational category and responsibility level.
- Financial records and human spending figures are studied to determine program funding, and budget allocations are offered to make budget modifications.
- Control and management of the Center’s yearly budget as well as other funded budgets; forecasting of monies required for personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitoring and recommending approval of expenditures on the basis of financial judgment.
- Prepares and analyzes reports on revenue and spending. Advises supervisory staff on trends in revenue and spending. Prepares periodic reports on revenue and spending to show how estimates compare to actual spending and to add to City budget reports.
Skills:
- In addition to 4 years of professional management experience, you must have skills in establishing, monitoring, and managing an operational budget and grant preparation/administration.
- Experience in a similar position is required; excellent organizational and people skills; good communication and writing skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated and able to handle many tasks at once; ability to work and develop others as a team; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher) and graphics/desktop and Internet software knowledge is helpful.
- Accreditation in accounting, business/public management, financial and economic analysis or a similar field is necessary for a quantitative analysis master’s degree.
- Scientific and Analytical Capability to assess and develop conclusions from data; to back proposals with facts and analysis; and to understand and implement rules, regulations, and policies. Capacity to effectively communicate ideas and information verbally and in writing using language that is easily understood by the intended audience.
- the equivalent of a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration or related subjects from an approved institution or college.
