It is the duty of the Lifeguard to ensure that all of our guests have a pleasant and safe time at the pool. If you’re looking for a job where you can make guests feel at home, this is the position for you. As a highly visible member of the team, you’ll be expected to communicate with guests and colleagues in English only at all times. Requires a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent credential.

Qualifications:

  • People who can read, write, understand, and speak English enough to do their job well help keep accident reports.
  • Teaching swimming, overseeing swimming groups, and assisting with other aquatic activities at the club are all examples of aquatic services. This position’s main responsibility is to supply these services.
  • You have to keep the pool deck, break room, restrooms, and drains clean and in good shape.
  • Keeps the pool and surrounding deck areas, as well as the pool house and gutters, in good working order by monitoring the pool’s water chemistry.
  • Getting the pool and surrounding area ready for the summer includes a variety of chores, including cleaning the water, washing the decks, rearranging the pool furniture and lifeguard equipment, and scrubbing the bathhouse, fence, and flower beds.
  • Keep an eye out for any infractions of the pool’s rules or regulations that might threaten the children’s health and safety while teaching them to swim or enjoying time with their family.
  • Responds courteously to members’ and visitors’ inquiries, gives information relevant to the assignment, and resolves issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • They perform responsibilities such as accident prevention and water safety services in addition to lifeguard duties.
  • Following all pool safety standards, rules, and procedures, and making sure that they are followed, is a key responsibility of this position.
  • Observes and enforces all Club safety standards and guidelines on the use of the pool area by members and visitors.

Skills:

  • A minimum of three months’ work experience as a lifeguard is necessary.
  • They must learn CPR, lifeguarding, and community first aid through the American Red Cross at this time.
  • Capable of creating and sustaining strong working relationships with employees, departments, and members of the general public.
  • To be considered for this position, you must have a high school graduation or an equivalent.
  • Working with children and people with impairments is a vital need.
