We’re searching for someone to join our team as a Chemical Engineer.

Job Title : Lead Chemical Engineer
Location : Umuahia, Abia, Nigeria
Salary : $ 36.75 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Set a good example for others in the workplace.
• Real-time assistance for operations staff with technological challenges.
• Diagnose and design solutions to long-term or recurring challenges with the support of other technical resources or on your own.
• It’s a good idea to upgrade existing equipment to increase product quality or operational safety.
• Perform tests to assess the results of colour formulation and processes.
• Selecting the most effective ways and methods from a wide range of options.
• Assistance with the monitoring of the plant’s operations.
• Review production history on a regular basis to make suggestions for increasing efficiency, quality, and reducing waste.
• Any concerns about safety should be brought to the attention of the authorities.
• All safety precautions must be backed up and carried out.

Skills:

• Applied electrochemistry or metal plating experience.
• Experience with printed circuit boards.
• Strong acids, bases, oxidizers, reducers, and other concentrated or hazardous chemicals should be handled and diluted by someone who knows what they’re doing.
• A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science engineering, or biochemical engineering is required as a minimum qualification.
• It should be demonstrated that you are well-versed in scientific technique and experimental design.
