Job Description

Responsible for analyzing raw material, in-process, and completed product samples utilizing a range of conventional wet chemical and instrumental procedures in a safe and precise manner. It is expected that you will successfully use test procedures, convey in-process batch modifications, conduct an investigation of non-conforming goods, and carry out corrective action plans.

  • When required, offers recommendations for improvement in the evaluation and presentation of outcomes in official or informal contexts.

  • Performs High Complexity testing only with technician supervision or Supervisor/Manager evaluation. Follows established guidelines for critical, abnormal, and unsatisfactory test findings.

  • GED or high school diploma required, The successful completion of at least twelve semester units in either chemistry or bacteriology is desired. Experience in laboratory testing and analysis over a period of one year
  • 1-2 years of experience directly related to the job, preferably in a manufacturing setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in chemistry or a closely related field
  • Possessing the capacity to perform operations on 10- and 100-digit numbers, as well as two- and three-digit numbers. The capacity to do these processes using American currency, as well as units of weight, volume, and distance.
