Part-Time Lab Technologist – Damietta
Job Description
The selected individual will help with laboratory support operations. Purification trials, analytics, or development studies may be added to the list of responsibilities if they prove successful. The applicant will be taught how to work safely and effectively in a laboratory environment.

Qualifications:
- Has the capacity to operate effectively both with others and on their own. Maintains lab equipment and does other tasks as required.
- For batch changes, root cause investigations, or the assessment of new products, create product mixes and evaluate them Process and end product components should all be subjected to the latest analytical testing methodologies.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new workers, students, and residents by using defined competence and workstation operating criteria. - High-complexity testing is only done under the guidance of a technologist or management. Follows up on critical, abnormal, and unsatisfactory test results.

- Possible new tasks include chromatography column packing, cycle studies, stability studies, material production, and analytical aid (HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE).
- Facilitate faster flow of product through the lab work queue. Extensive expertise with all applicable lab documents and processes.

Skills:
- Diploma from high school or GED, Completed at least twelve semester units in chemistry or bacteriology, One year of testing and analyzing in a laboratory
- Understanding of similarities and distinctions between words, numbers and sequences of numbers. Simple printing and speaking.
- Use of hands, arms, and other body parts is often necessary in order to manipulate items, operate machinery, communicate verbally or nonverbally, and to taste or smell. A normal workday includes periods of standing, walking, and sitting. Lifting and moving up to 25 pounds must be done on a regular basis by the employee.
- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with numbers using tens and hundreds as well as two-digit integers. Capability to do these activities with American money as well as units of weight measurement, volume measurement, and distance measurement.
- This role requires manufacturing expertise or a mix of education and experience. Entry requires a four-year college or university degree in chemistry.
