Job Description

To join our team, we are looking for an Inventory Controller with Material Handling expertise. This role will keep track of components that are being moved to multiple departments, transport parts to different departments, and monitor and maintain material inventory. This employee is also responsible for documenting any difficulties or concerns that arise when monitoring inventory. Applicants must have prior expertise with inventory monitoring, inventory management, and inventory accuracy. To apply, you must have prior experience operating a forklift, since the bulk of jobs will involve the use of a forklift.

Qualifications:

  • Ensures timely ordering and delivery of all CPD Implants. Checks each item everyday and addresses any deficiencies. Communicates difficulties to the manager and assists with loaner implant kit requests as required. Guarantees prompt delivery of products. Creates simply a billing PO.
  • Data on inventories should ideally be recorded into an ERP system using a computer or other electronic gadget. The act of receiving and delivering merchandise. Do whatever is necessary to modify your inventory. Analyze data using a computer to determine the accuracy and condition of various inventories.
  • Understanding and Analyzing Data — Examining and Analyzing all previous 24-hour inventory movements and reconciling inventory variances between DLX and SAP. The product’s quality, damage, and liquidation status are all taken into account while making a purchase decision. Become the Leader It’s critical to understand how the facility operates in order to spot areas for improvement.
  • It’s vital to make sure things go from point A to point B. As a result, you will be in charge of the production inventory at the Rome Plant. For shipping and receiving, you’ll be in charge of warehouse inventories.
  • Being organized includes keeping track of quality hold inventory, coordinating with the Quality Supervisor, and ensuring that all departing and production orders have been post-goods issued and incoming orders have been post-goods received. At all times, you must follow all relevant food safety and sanitary requirements.
  • Hourly workers should be actively trained and developed, and talent management for hourly workers should be supported. Supporting relevant projects and making sure they meet Diversity and Inclusion criteria
  • Carries out shipments of products in designated boxes and wood crates. Add the weight, shipping, and postage expenses. New shipments are unpacked and checked, defective products are rejected, and carriers are contacted to resolve damage and shortages.
  • To guarantee seamless shipping and receiving, you’ll manage inventory control operations, correct shipping and receiving irregularities, and resolve reporting issues. Assuring and enhancing compliance with all areas/shift reporting, such as consumption and returns, as well as K-LEAN. To balance raw and packaged commodities, you’ll engage with plant finance and procurement. You’ll also aid warehouse workers with inventory counts (each SKU has different cycle count requirements)
  • Inventory metrics are compiled, verified, and reported on daily and/or quarterly basis in order to enhance and maintain the general health of inventory, as well as to discover trends. In order to identify the underlying causes of process or behavior variations, conduct in-depth research and keep detailed records for future operational assessment.
  • Preparing and checking incoming and departing shipments Bill of lading, invoices, or orders are compared against arriving and outgoing products.

Skills:

  • A high school diploma from an approved institution or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with appropriate professional experience Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration connected to the inventory management system’s inventory location system
  • Staff must be able to read delivery documents and product tickets. This person must interact well with delivery warehouse staff to relay inventory information. This work demands a trustworthy, honest individual who can serve clients quickly and professionally.
  • Shows that they can communicate well in English both orally and in writing. Communicates in a way that is clear, polite, and professional. Be able to get along with surgeons, people who work with anesthesia, nurses, and other people on the health care team.
  • Uses computers in inventory and operation room to show competency. Learn a computer from the ground up. Intermediate data input and typing. Mastering PS and EPIC. Purchase order data may be downloaded to handheld devices. Mobile phones may be used in the operating room.
  • The individual is regularly expected to stand, walk, sit, speak, and hear while performing the activities of this profession. It is expected that the employee will often use their hands to manipulate items, as well as their arms and hands to reach. The individual in this role must be able to move or lift up to and including 100 pounds on a regular basis. They must be able to check products and delivery paperwork visually.
