Full-Time Inventory Clerk – Al Khor
Job Description
Due to our rapid expansion, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Inventory Clerk to join our team. The major purpose of this position is to use a portable data terminal (PDA) to keep track of all salvageable components from automobiles received. The ideal applicant has a high level of interest in their work, pays close attention to detail, collaborates effectively with others, and possesses superior written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be highly driven and have a positive attitude toward teamwork.

Qualifications:
- Communicate to supervisor and appropriate personnel through the use of the ticket system and/or email of any problems which may be observed during the assembling or troubleshooting processes.
- Perform cycle and physical inventory counts, and when needed/requested, report shortages, overages, and all inventory levels.
- Maintain regularly scheduled cycle counts of inventory in the tool room.
- Responsible for following and maintaining procedures, as well as assisting with the establishment of undocumented processes.
- Completing everyday tasks in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of safety and accuracy while recording indirect time requires strict adherence to outlined procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with warehouse maintenance activities such as sweeping floors and storing equipment.
- Create and always uphold a high standard of customer service, both inside and outside.
- Manage the tool room, make sure everything the production team needs is delivered to them, and that any tools used during production are returned to their rightful storage place.
- Responsible for adhering to all food safety policies, procedures, and regulatory criteria, such as the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), as well as the associated preventive controls.
- Workstations should be counted on a regular basis as per instructions.
Skills:
- Experience: 1-2 years of similar experience as an Inventory Clerk in a manufacturing environment characterized by a high rate of production.
- Effective problem-solving skills are required, in addition to written and vocal communication skills.
- Competence in conveying ideas and thoughts to other people.
- Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential activities in order to determine the best appropriate course of action.
- Knowledge of numerous measuring instruments, such as calipers and measuring tape.
