Job Description
The intern for our social media team is responsible for sparking fresh thinking and innovation in the realm of digital communication. We’re looking for Social Media Interns who can adapt to the ever-shifting social media landscape and help us run campaigns for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate will be creative and enthusiastic about social media.

Qualifications:
- Establish and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets in coordination with the marketing coordinator.
- Work closely with videographer to aid in gathering pictures and footage.
- Required education and experience levels include a high school diploma, a general education diploma (GED), or an equivalent mix of both.
- Aid in media relations by making pitches, finding relevant information, and arranging interviews as needed.
- Assist the marketing coordinator with writing advertising material for divisional companies.
- Weekly and monthly social media posts will let you contribute to the content calendar.
- Provide public relations support by writing press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, and appeal letters as needed.
- help with media follow-up to secure client placement and track progress.
- The team as a whole should keep an eye on analytics to spot implementable ideas, trends, and growth patterns.
- amassing information, producing content, and disseminating official newsletters and press releases.
Skills:
- Required education and experience levels above that of a high school graduate.
- superior knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office programs, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Having a basic understanding of marketing strategy and how to apply the ideas in different forms of outreach
- Imaginative and multifaceted individual who enjoys using words, pictures, and video to make engaging stories.
- Skilled in the appropriate application of social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
