Job Description
We’re seeking for an industrial hygienist. Working under defined processes and rules, the Industrial Hygienist assists in day-to-day Industrial Hygiene operations and ensures the health and safety of employees by collecting and analyzing Industrial Hygiene samples.

Qualifications:
- In order to remove or manage physical circumstances, operational methods, or other elements that pose unwarranted hazards to human health and safety, conduct professional safety evaluations or inspections. Proposes and coordinates measures to be taken in response to the results.
- Assistance in public health situations such as workplace inspections to check the application of prescribed risk reduction measures and to provide current data regarding working conditions, procedures provided, and key hazards or trends to customers.
- Measurement, analysis, and comparison with relevant criteria are all components in the ventilation assessment procedure.
- Consult with senior management and project officials on industrial hygiene-related laws and federal, state, and municipal regulations using the most up-to-date information available.
- In order to demonstrate the attributes of Total Quality and IDEA and PACE programs, develop and present Total Quality improvement plans.
- Carry out hazard characterizations in industrial and administrative settings, including data on employee demographics and processes, as well as hazards and countermeasures.
- Review pertinent toxicological and safety data for chemicals utilized in Tesla’s labs and provide suggestions for exposure management and evaluation.
- Choose acceptable analytic methods, choose appropriate equipment, calibrate the equipment, create a laboratory interface, and conduct sample programs, which should involve data processing and interpretation, among other things.
- Coordinate comprehensive exposure evaluations, industrial hygiene surveys and analyses, and the production of industrial hygiene reports
- Discuss and execute initiatives to increase staff understanding of incident prevention, industrial hygiene and environmental compliance.
Skills:
- Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Safety and Health, a scientific or technical discipline, or another subject related to the responsibilities of the role.
- Proficiency analyzing and mitigating risks in order to maintain compliance with the BMBL, OSHA standards, and related guidelines and requirements
- Comprehensive medical surveillance and related program administration knowledge, including medical clearance for respirator usage, audiometry, and substance-specific testing.
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality client presentations and preparing written reports.
- Advanced technical understanding of IH rules, standards, ideas, practices, principles, and procedures; practical knowledge of important IH practices and applications.
