Job Description
Industrial designers are tasked with finding new and improved ways to keep mobile devices secure. This position is accountable for ensuring that all design and engineering work is accomplished to the highest standards and that all Company’s technical and organizational standards are met or surpassed. In close collaboration with the mechanical design team, this individual will create visual representations of their ideas and concepts in the form of sketches, 3D models, pictures, and/or renderings.

Qualifications:
- Evaluate the usefulness, appeal, and security of a product to determine if it is a feasible design.
- Work with other experts to assess whether design suggestions will meet needs, such as mechanical engineers and manufacturers.
- Work together with HP’s design community to create ground-breaking ideas that make use of modern materials, forms, and color schemes.
- Develop and iterate on product designs while presenting those designs to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Work closely with sourcing on cost-efficient yet on brand production and packaging.
- Encourage and maintain an effective safety climate via active leadership in all safety-related endeavors.
- Produces and validates product design specifications and production requirements with insourced and outsourced manufacturing and engineering groups.
- In order to secure support from influential parties, it is necessary to propose designs and demonstrate working prototypes.
- Encourage brainstorming and assist the team in ranking the categories we decide to enter.
- Think about how the design aesthetics and the product design language may reinforce the brand while consistently satisfying customers.
Skills:
- Creative people come up with unique solutions to familiar problems, such as innovative ways to use old technologies in novel ways.
- Successfully designed a variety of products and put those designs into production in previous jobs; this is essential experience for any designer.
- Analytical abilities: making use of reason and investigation to learn about target markets and establish a need for new offerings.
- To make the most of design and prototyping software, you’ll need some experience with computers.
- Capacity to identify complex design obstacles, such as those involving a product’s necessity, size, form, function, and cost; to anticipate production problems; to produce alternatives; to examine possibilities; and to put answers into effect.
