Full-Time Hotel Front Desk – Warri
The Hotel Front Desk is responsible for welcoming and registering visitors as they arrive and escorting them to their rooms when they check out. Making bookings for incoming phone calls or walk-ins and providing outstanding customer service to existing and potential visitors.

- Produce deposit slips, provide the Guest Services Manager with a report on the day’s financial position, and reconcile the day’s payments and expenditures with the amounts that are shown on the machines. The need for adjustments
- A hotel’s proprietary information, along with its communications, reports, and files, must always be kept discreet and secure. Manage all requests for reservations, whether incoming and outgoing, Follow the General Manager’s instructions about the care of lost and found things.
- It’s possible that the success of your department will have an influence on the way other parts of your company operate. Always ensure that the lobby, the toilets, and any other public areas of the hotel are clean.
- Excellence in guest service: Greet guests with a smile and inform them about the resort and neighboring attractions. Guest experience – seeks methods to increase profits.
- People excellence shows a passion for customer service and teamwork. Product excellence – give friendly, smiling service and a swift, accurate check-in.
- Fill out the registration forms for your guests and double verify that they have provided all of the necessary information in the appropriate spaces. Always make sure that the information in guest accounts is up to date, including credit card and identification numbers, as well as any modifications.
- When guests check out, their accounts are closed, and we may then determine whether or not they were satisfied. A supervisor should be contacted if a problem continues despite your best attempts to discover a solution on your own, within the constraints of the company’s laws and regulations.
- You will be asked to assist with the cleaning of any part of the hotel that the management specifies, such as the lobby, staff break room, guest laundry, exercise facility, vending areas, stairwells, and public places.
- Immediately provide them with a warm greeting that is both real and courteous. Employ a voice that is upbeat and easy to hear, actively listen to ensure you fully comprehend requests, reply with appropriate action, and give correct information, such as store hours and nearby points of interest.

- Ability to travel about the front office and do critical job, Read, listen, and speak/write English well.
- A diploma from an accredited high school or its equivalent is necessary, Experience with computers is necessary, At least three years’ worth of experience working in hotel front desk positions
- Ability to use a relatively sophisticated computer system correctly. Hearing and seeing emergency signals.
- Communicate well with internal and external consumers who require patience, tact, and diplomacy to moderate anger, obtain information, and resolve problems.
- Ability to run property management system technology is required. Work through all shift reports and conduct the audit function as needed and assigned.
