Job Description
The Hotel Front Desk is in charge of all Hotel Front Desk duties. The Hotel Front Desk will verify that the company complies with all federal, state, and local employment regulations. As with other members of the Hotel Team, the Hotel Front Desk is expected to behave himself/herself in a way that exhibits initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, honesty, and confidentiality in the relevant areas of his/her performance.

Qualifications:
- You must clean the lobby, staff break room, guest laundry, exercise facility, vending areas, stairwells, and public places as directed by the management.
- Reconcile the day’s payments and expenditures with the sums shown on the system, produce deposit slips, and update the Guest Services Manager on the day’s financial standing. Changes required
- Greet them right away with a polite and genuine greeting. Use a happy and clear speaking voice, listen to comprehend requests, reply appropriately, and give correct information such as store hours and nearby attractions.
- Excellence in people shows a passion for service, customer service, and teamwork. Product excellence – provide friendly, smiling service and a swift, accurate check in.
- Assisting guests quickly, courteously, and professionally Maintain service and hospitality, Resolve guest problems or issues quickly and efficiently.
- A friendly smile and aid in gathering information about the guest and local attractions are necessary components of offering great service to guests. Priority is given to the happiness of guests above the investigation of possible new sources of revenue.
- At the time of departure, close guest accounts and assess their level of satisfaction. In the case of discontent, investigate and seek to fix the issue in accordance with established rules; this may include referring the issue to a supervisor.
- Assist with various areas such as Breakfast, Social, Housekeeping, Laundry etc. as required, The hotel restrooms, lobby, and all other public spaces should be kept spotless.
- It is vital that hotel information, including conversations, reports, and files, be kept discrete and safe at all times. Take care of all requests for reservations, both arriving and outgoing, Take care of lost and found objects in line with the directives supplied by the General Manager.
- Prepare for your approaching guests by filling out their registration papers and ensuring they have all of the relevant information. Accept and record credit card and photo ID information on guest accounts, and provide change as needed.
Skills:
- Effectively interact with internal and external clients who require patience, tact, and diplomacy to moderate anger, obtain info, and solve problems.
- It is essential to have a high school diploma or its equivalent. A solid grasp of computers is necessary, as is three years of experience working at a hotel front desk.
- Able to stand and walk about the front office and perform vital professional duties. Able to read, listen, and speak and write in English.
- The capacity to use a reasonably complex computer system to obtain and accurately input data. It is crucial to be able to hear and perceive warning signs of an oncoming disaster in order to remain safe.
- The ability to run the property management system technology is required. It is required to be able to go through all shift reports and conduct the audit function as needed and assigned.
