Full-Time Haul Unit Operator – Luxor
Job Description
Equipment Operators are being sought by the company. During the pre-development stage of the project’s construction, the Equipment Operator’s primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe functioning of different mining equipment. As an equipment operator, this worker would be promoted to the rotating shift of the mine. Workplace safety is a top priority in this role.

Qualifications:
- Carries out routine mechanical maintenance and repairs on construction equipment in order to keep the equipment in a state where it can continue to function properly.
- Execute all equipment operator responsibilities and tasks. Keep meticulous records of every machine use, maintenance, and gas consumption.
- Safely operates, drives, and uses light to moderately complex equipment for City and utility maintenance; uses and drives rubber-tired backhoes, tracked excavators and loaders, maintainers, bobcats, street sweepers, cranes, soil compactors, and front-end loaders; excavates asphalt and concrete, clears debris and obstructions from creeks, and maintains the sanitary sewer system.
- Moves raw materials and final components using machinery, Follow SOPs for vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Worksite transportation may include earth moving or other large-sized automotive equipment, which requires driving a truck and trailer.
- In order to meet the city’s ongoing building and maintenance needs, this position is responsible for transporting and unloading construction goods from City stockpiles or suppliers.
- Runs heavy machinery according to the company’s operating safety policies and procedures. Conducts periodic equipment inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment; keeps correct records

- Daily clean, arrange, and secure the building. Clean equipment after usage. If you find any difficulties, tell the Equipment Technician.
- Utilize hand and power tools, construction and maintenance machinery, and tools for hammering with care. Manual work such as mowing, repairing, and snow shoveling are all examples of what you’ll be doing.
Skills:
- Proven experience as an exceptional communicator who is honest, fair, and inclusive with workers, partners, and stakeholders Understanding of the fundamentals of power-driven equipment operation and maintenance
- High school diploma, GED, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required. Two years of expertise in mechanical assembly, forklift operation, and/or operation of comparable machine equipment. A valid driver’s license is required.
- It is important to have a working knowledge of the dangers of the task and permissible safety measures in addition to basic building techniques and materials. A great degree of dexterity and endurance in the hands
- Ability to foster a service-oriented work atmosphere that values employee diversity, equality, and inclusion, as well as colleague collaboration.
- Requires six months of experience as an Equipment Operator I or one year in a similar capacity. Education in turfgrass management or a related field may substitute for work experience.
