Job Description
We are searching for a detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our team. In order to prepare surfaces for final treatment, you will be responsible for sealing seams, fixing cracks, and smoothing defects on walls and ceilings. You must also ensure that all goods are handled with care. You must be able to complete tasks fast while maintaining a high degree of quality in order to thrive in this profession. You should have plenty of stamina, physical strength, and the ability to effectively manage your time. Client goals must be understood, instructions must be followed, and projects must be completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

- Maintains communication and coordination with the supervisor, client, and other trades and subcontractors to provide quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance.
- Assist your Team Leader and Area Coordinator in planning and organizing your area’s production activities by discussing expected material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
- To improve and preserve interior surfaces, does detailed finishing work such as painting (roller, brush, and spray applications), vinyl wallpaper restoration, staining, and application of other finishes. With hand and power tools, prepares and polishes walls and surface areas, fixes damaged wood and metal doors, and performs Finisher-related tasks.
- To apply texture chemicals or primers to walls or ceilings before final finishing, use tools like trowels, brushes, rollers and the texture hopper. Wallboard and structural metal components may be held in place by using corner metal moldings.
- Notifying your supervisor of any work-related concerns and ensuring that all equipment and supplies are used in the right manner are all essential job responsibilities.
- Apply sealing compound using trowels, broad knives, or spatulas over cracks, holes, nail heads, and screw heads, as well as between boards or panels.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities are required.
