We want an enthusiastic and upbeat Front Office Assistant if we are to give excellent service and achieve success in our locations. As a Front Office Assistant, your duties will include greeting patients, activating patient files, and assisting medical experts. If you’re a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle several tasks, we’d love to have you on board. In order to do this job, you’ll need to work in a clinical setting. Infectious disorders and blood-borne infections are possible due to the moderate noise level. Long durations of standing or sitting are required, as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds. Depending on the location, the number of patients, and the needs of the firm, the working hours may vary.

Qualifications:
- People who work in this job need to be able to do a lot of different things at the same time, such as answer phones and take messages.
- Verify the front-desk staff’s knowledge and skills. Work with the Practice Manager and/or Supervisor to rectify any performance issues that are brought to your attention.
- Accuracy in working together as a team and helping others when needed.
- Perform any other or ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the management team, within the boundaries of your expertise and competence.
- Maintains a regular and timely work schedule in accordance with company policy, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local laws.
- Helping with Covid-19 screening processes, sending visitors via the facility front office to the correct locations
- Prepare analytical reports and input information generated by analysts into the computer system for use in creating a client-ready report. Department managers and/or office supervisors give reports a priority and they are created accordingly.
- Faxes, interoffice forms, enquiries, and other communication methods are organized and sent to the appropriate staff.
- All rules, methods, and values of the organization, as well as the related Commitment to Excellence criteria, are consistently followed and ensured.
- People who work in an office may be assigned additional jobs. These might include tasks such as copying and distributing messages, creating spreadsheets, or data input.
Skills:
- Capacity to develop and maintain good working connections with coworkers, departments, and the general public.
- This position need complete COVID-19 immunization. To guarantee compliance, UnitedHealth Group will follow all federal, state, and local rules as well as any client needs, including obtaining requisite evidence of immunization prior to employment.
- Six months of experience managing computer systems, tools, and technology such as Microsoft Office, POS, EMR, or practice management and invoicing systems
- Having good computer skills and being able to speak and write well are important for this job.
- A typing speed of about 30 words per minute (wpm) or the ability to effectively show proficient usage of a practice management computer system.
