Qualifications:
- A fire station’s interior and exterior must be maintained spotless at all times. As part of this, you should sweep and mop the floors, as well as thoroughly clean the kitchen and bathrooms from top to bottom.
- Interact constructively with colleagues and contribute positively to regional and company objectives as an important member of the team.
- Respond if there is a gas leak, hazardous material spill, or bomb threat. By creating dikes or storing hazardous materials in a manner that inhibits their discharge, you may avoid damaging surface drainage systems.
- There will be a lot of paperwork for firemen to fill out. It includes pre-occupation planning, inspection reports, alarm event records, and an assessment of the facility’s capacity.
- Some of the other things that firefighters do include installing smoke detectors, going to special community events, and going to schools to teach people about life and fire safety.
- This function includes all parts of fire suppression, including rescue, entry, and ventilation; persons are rescued and ventilated as well as salvaged.

Skills:

- The ability to communicate successfully at all levels of the business, as well as with members of the general public and other workers, is a must.

- As a condition of ongoing employment, the employee must maintain current active status on all needed licenses at all times, and the license must be carried with him or her at all times while on the job.
